Come to NFLPA Retired Convention Fees Waived This Year

Dear Fellow NFLPA Members:

The NFLPA realizes the challenges of the current economy and at the suggestion of the Steering Committee has agreed to waive the convention registration fee for any NFLPA member (and wife/significant other) to attend this year’s event in Palm Springs, a savings of up to $300/couple.

In addition, members who attend the event are ‘comped’ their NFLPA membership dues for one year, an additional savings of $100!

It promises to be a great occasion and this will be your first opportunity to meet new NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith who has indicated that he will be in attendance and wants to meet with as many retired players as possible.

Events include two half-day general sessions with informative and entertaining speakers, a convention golf tournament, ladies breakfast, wives meeting, two parties and a community service event.  Breakfast is served each day.  Attendees will also receive a $25 hotel gift card to be used at the hotel outlets or upon checkout against your hotel bill.

We hope this encourages you to attend this important event.  Please mail or fax your convention registration form to the NFLPA office as soon as possible as rooms need to be reserved by April 21.  If you need a copy of the registration form, it can be found as an attachment to this email.

Sincerely,
